PURPOSE: To provide a range finder for a camera constituted so that a proper focusing action can be executed even when the temperature of a light emission means for range-finding is changed. CONSTITUTION: By this range finder, a signal correction means 12 is controlled according to the temperature of the light emission means for range-finding 1 by using a control means 5 and the correction level thereof is adjusted to the proper level corresponding to the change of the emitted light quantity of the light emission means 1 accompanied with the temperature change thereof. Thus, even when the emitted light quantity of the light emission means 1 is changed in accordance with the temperature change thereof, a signal is corrected based on the proper correction level by the correction means 12. Therefore, the proper focusing action is executed by this range finder even when the temperature of the light emission means 1 is changed. |
