Then, the angleθn is compared with the least valueθs of the angle formed between both side faces 6 and 7 of a recessing part where the machining remainder value of a tool 5 of the least diameter is included within a measurement crossing ds. Whenθn <θs is satisfied, dn >ds is satisfied for a distance dn between the position of a folding point F of a design section shape DF corresponding to the recessed part having the angleθn against the cross ds and an actual machining surface. Thus, the measurement is not required for the periheral areas of both points An and Cn against the machining remaining part where the error due to the machining remaining value of the tool 5 exceeds the measuring crossing ds .
