PURPOSE: To obtain a battery protective circuit for a battery drive apparatus, a battery pack and an apparatus employing it which function as a thermal protector, an over-discharge protective circuit or a short circuit protective circuit. CONSTITUTION: A switch circuit 14 is connected with any one of positive or negative pole terminals of a battery 11 applied tightly with a thermistor 12. The switch circuit 14 is subjected to ON/OFF control based on the voltage appearing at the terminal of the thermistor thus providing the temperature rise protective function and over-discharge protective function. When a pack structure is employed, the battery protective circuit serves as a short circuit protective circuit for the battery. |
