<p>PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method of a varistor having excellent incombustible characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A primer layer 14 is formed by coating and hardening a mixed solution obtained by hydrolyzing aqueous colloidal silica and an ethyl silicate monomer using a catalyzer, consisting of a silane coupling agent and aluminum alkoxide, on the whole surface of an electrode 12 and a varistor base material 11, and an inorganic sheathing painted part 15 is formed by coating and hardening the mixture, which is formed by adding fillers to a mixed solution obtained in the same manner as above, on the above-mentioned primer layer 14 in the manufacturing method.</p> |
