<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the comfortable lighting system, which can save the energy. CONSTITUTION: Detection region of a human body detecting sensor unit 1 provided with a pyroelectric element is divided into plural detection regions. Human body detecting signal can be obtained from each divided detection region. In the case where a person passes through within the detection region, the human body detecting signal is continuously output with a short interval. On the other hand, in the case where a human body stops within the detection region, interval between the human body detecting signals is prolonged. A control unit 3 discriminates whether the person passes through or stops within the detection region on the basis of the interval between the signals. In response to a result of the discrimination, a luminaire 41 is controlled for modulation through a light modulating signal output unit 5 so that the illuminance detecting signal by an illuminance sensor unit 2 achieves the predetermined level. The comfortable lighting environment corresponding to the behavior of a person is thereby obtained, and the energy can be saved.</p> |
