The cable support includes the chain, an upper stretch (BS1) of which starts from the movable point of attachment (O1) and follows a U-shaped arc (BU1) to a point where it meets a grounded lower stretch (BI1) from a fixed point (E1). Over a portion of the upper stretch near the attachment point, the links are equipped with special anti-friction pads (PS1,PS2) whose length exceeds that corresp. to the minimum radius of curvature. Advantageously the links nearest to the attachment point are jointed differently so as to permit curvature in the reverse direction (rKR) only.
