PURPOSE: To improve the productivity by shortening a read interval of an original. CONSTITUTION: Signals R, G, B read by scanning operation of an image reader 1 are converted into a luminance signal L*, a 1st color difference signal a* and a 2nd color difference signal b* by a 1st color image processor 10. In the case of scanning operation, the luminance signal L*, the 1st color difference signal a* and the 2nd color difference signal b* are fed to a 2nd image processing unit 15 through a bypass line and a selector 14 to generate a signal K. In this case, a selector 11 is thrown to the position 0 and a distributer 12 is selected to the position '0' and the luminance signal L*, the 1st color difference signal a* and the 2nd color difference signal b* are stored in a page memory 13a. After the signal K is outputted, the selector 14 is thrown to the position '1' and signals Y, M, C are sequentially generated based on the luminance signal L*, the 1st color difference signal a* and the 2nd color difference signal b* stored in the page memory 13a. |
