PURPOSE: To communicate with an operator at a remote place by providing a CPU for judging the landslide from measured data and call originating alarm data by a telephone, and a pager for receiving the alarm data. CONSTITUTION: When a wire 6 is extended, a rotary encoder 5 coupled to a rotary shaft is rotated to output a pulse signal proportional to the extension of the wire 6. A notebook-sized personal computer 2 samples the pulse at each set measuring time, calculates the pulse number increased per unit time, and sends a numeric code or a character message when the varied amount exceeds a reference value. Further, it is converted to the pulse signal or the tone signal adapted for receiving by a pager 4, added with the telephone number of the pager 4 to be transmitted, and transmitted from the modem contained in the computer 2 to a portable telephone 3. An operator knows the change of the place of the installed measuring spots of a plurality according to an identification code. |
