PURPOSE: To control the rapid sinking of a brake pedal, the generation of an oil violent sound, a G shock or the like due to stepwise sudden deceleration and at the same time to prevent a braking distance of a vehicle from being extended. CONSTITUTION: This braking device comprises a brake aster cylinder 4 for generating hydraulic pressure in accordance with an operating quantity of a brake pedal 21 when regenerative braking is changed to hydraulic pressure braking, wheel cylinders 5 for giving braking force to a wheel in accordance with the hydraulic pressure and a by-pass valve 7 for controlling the transmission of the hydraulic pressure to the wheel cylinders 5 form the brake master cylinder 4, and when the wheel cylinders 5 of a front wheel Fr and a rear wheel Rr sides are simultaneously operated, the volume of the wheel cylinders 5 becomes double. Since the reaction of brake pedal 21 is changed suddenly, the wheel cylinder 5 (Fr) on the front wheel Fr side is changed over first and after that, the wheel cylinder 5 (Rr) on the rear wheel Rr side is changed over later. |
