<p>PURPOSE: To provide the cursor operation unit which is improved in space factor by putting a shaft, fitted with a rubber roller and an encoder, close to a track ball. CONSTITUTION: This unit is equipped with two shafts 23 which are fitted with rubber rollers 20 in the shape of a right circular cone and encoders 25 and pivoted on bearings 24, the centers of the two shafts 23 and track ball 10 are positioned coplanarly, and the generating lines of the rubber rollers in the shape of the right circular cone are brought into contact with the track ball 10, thus constituting the cursor operation unit.</p> |
