PURPOSE: To make an optical adjustment to correct optical deviation in the track direction of 1st and 2nd light receiving element groups possible to be performed by providing an optical position adjustment signal generating means in a light receiving and light emitting element so as to have only to mount externally a general-purpose IC not having a correction circuit for a tracking error signal. CONSTITUTION: An adder circuit 112 obtains signals α, βwith respect to a tracking error of a push-pull system from a signal relating to each light receiving element of a 1st light receiving element group PD1 and a 2nd light receiving element group PD2 through an I-V amplifier 110. A correction circuit 120 corrects the signals α, β to eliminate a DC offset component of the tracking error signals α, β caused by the movement of an objective lens and skew of an optical disk. An optical position adjustment signal generating means 130 adjusts so that the offset of the signals α, β relating to the tracking error of the push-pull system is zero. |
