PURPOSE: To easily find a defective solar cell panel, without using a circuit tester, etc., by providing reverse bias-preventing, bypassing and indicating light emitting diodes connected anti-parallel to the panels. CONSTITUTION: Each of light emitting diodes 7 is, when a reverse bias is applied due to a photovolatic force of other solar cell panel 1, forward biased to turn on and forward current flows. Similarly to the conventional bias diode, this prevents the reverse bias of each solar cell panel 1 from being applied. Each diode 7 lights due to the flow of the bias current. So far as an incident light on each panel 1 is not obstructed, the diode 7 of only a solar cell panel 1 (defective panel) providing no output because of failure lights. Thus, this panel can be found easily, without using a circuit tester, etc. |
