<p>PURPOSE: To provide a metallic package with a connection means easy to connect the inner and outer parts electrically. CONSTITUTION: An insulating board 70 with a connection path 72 has an end part 70a. The end part 70a, to which an outer-lead joining part 74 is elongated from the connection path 72, is inserted in a hole 12 in a side wall of a metallic package 10, while the other end part 70b, to which an electronic-component joining part 76 is elongated from the connection path 72, is projected inside. In this state the insulating board 70 is joined with the metallic package 10. Then, the hole 12 is covered airtightly with an insulating cover 90 put outside the metallic package 10, and an outer lead 30 is inserted airtightly into the cover 90. An inner end of the outer lead 30 is connected electrically to a joining part 74 in the connection path 72 so that the inner and outer parts of the metallic package 10 are connected electrically through the connection path 72 and the outer lead 30.</p> |
