<p>PURPOSE: To set up a sign on an overhead cable easily from the ground without using a height working car by using an equipment which, having holding sections which open mounting sections when being pressed and a spring which usually holds the mounting sections in a closed condition, is temporarily installed in a temporary installation section with the holding sections being pressed. CONSTITUTION: A sign mounting tool 4 is installed in a temporary installation section 51 with holding sections 42 being pressed. Under this condition, the holding sections 42 are held by pins 54 and therefore the sign mounting tool 4 does not come off easily from an operation tool 5. At the same time, since the holding sections 42 are being pressed, mounting sections 41 are opened by the width which is the same or larger than a diameter of an overhead cable 1. A worker draws the sign mounting tool 4 near to the overhead cable 1 and then gets the overhead cable 1 caught on a recessed section 41B of the mounting sections 41. Under such a condition, the worker inclines an operation pole on which the operation tool 5 is mounted a little bit to the side where there are no pins 54. As a result, the sign mounting tool 4 comes off from the temporary installation section 51 and a distance between the holding sections 42 is extended and the mounting sections 41 are closed and the sign mounting tool 4 is installed on the overhead cable 1.</p> |
