PURPOSE: To obtain an electric wire end treating cap capable of holding electric wires having different diameters easily and surely, by incising a female screw on the inner circumferential wall of a joining-by-screwing part, incising a male screw to be screwed into the female screw on the peripheral wall of a cap body, and providing a projecting claw inside the tip of each leg segment at the tip of the cap body. CONSTITUTION: A cover body 1 has a joining-by-screwing part 4 having a diameter enlarged through a tapered part 3 near its opening 2, and a female screw 5 is incised on the inner circumferential wall of the joining-by-screwing part 4. A cap substance 6 to be screwed into the joining-by-screwing part 4 is made of a cylinder having a through hole 7 for inserting an electric wire W inside. And a nipping disk part 9 united into a body is provided at the base end of the cap substance 6 having a male screw 8 incised on its peripheral wall to be screwed into the female screw 5. And along with this, a plurality of projecting leg segments 10 having boundability are provided at the tip of the cap substance 6 concentrically, and a claw 11 projecting to the inside of the tip of each of these leg segments 10 is provided horizontally. |
