PURPOSE: To avoid the curl of printing paper by providing a heater in longitudinal direction of a slender insulating board, and a highly heat conductive film for heat radiation at least along one side. CONSTITUTION: A fixing heater has a heater 12, which has terminals 12a and 12b at both ends, on an insulating substrate 11, and is equipped with a film 12 such as Ag, Au, or the like high in heat conductivity for heat radiation along the heater 12 on its one side. Accordingly, setting the fixing heater so that the heat 12 may be positioned on the side of a pressing roller, and carrying printing paper 43 will radiate the heat from heater generator 12 from the film 13, and remarkably lessen the temperature difference between the obverse and reverse of the paper 43 as compared with a conventional one. And, the curl of the paper 43 can be avoided. Moreover, by making the length of the film 13 approximately the same as the heater 12, the whole of the paper 43 can be cooled surely. |
