The homokinetic transmission consists, at the end of a shaft (4), of an opened out part (33) defining an inside cavity (9) in which is placed a hub (38) carrying arms (12) which extend radially into radial grooves (14) provided in the peripheral walls (15) surrounding the cavity. Each arm is provided with a roller (16) which slides along these arms and along generated pathways formed on opposite faces (18) of the grooves (14). The hub (38) has at its two ends, spherical carriers (39) each having a centre (43) situated between the centre (P) of the hub (38) and the axial end (42) of the carriers (39). The bottom (34) of the cavity (9) of the piece (33) and the bottom (36) of the closing piece (35) are conformed so that their surface has for the generatrices, a sphere of the same radius (a) of the carriers (39) and for their directrices covered by the centre (43), a surface with a hyperbolic profile revolving about the axis (10) of the principle piece (33).
