<p>Enantioselective syntheses of (S)-6-chloro-3,4-dihydro-2-(3-methoxypropyl)-2H-thieno[3,2-e]-1,2-thiazin-4-ol 1,1-dioxide and related compounds of the formula (1) wherein R is H or Cl; and R' is C1-6 alkyl, CH2(CH2)nOR', wherein R' is CH3 or (CH2)nCH3 and n is 1-4, CH2(CH2)nX, wherein X is Br, Cl, or I, and n is 1-4, or (CH2)nAr, wherein Ar is unsubstituted phenyl, 3-methoxyphenyl, or 4-methoxyphenyl and n is 1 or 2.</p> |
