<p>An assembly (1) including a generally cylindrical rotary thresher (2) with an axis perpendicular to the forward direction of the machine, and a cylindrically curved thresher concave (3) which is coaxial with the thresher (2) and surrounds part of the lower portion thereof. Said thresher (2) has a diameter at least 40 % bigger than that of existing threshers, is longitudinally enclosed by a continuous circumferential wall, and includes peripheral beater bars (5) mounted on radially outwardly projecting ribs (6) and alternated with rows of substantially radially outwardly projecting fingers (7).</p> |
