PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION

A pharmaceutical composition contains at least one topically applicable active substance with systemic and/or local action, preferably selected from the group that consists of local anaesthetics, antiallergics, dermatological products, active substances against influenza-type infections and colds, active substances for treating neuropathies, chimiotherapeutical substances, quinine, thalidomide, analgesics, non-steroidal antirheumatic substances, opiate receptor agonists, opiate receptor antagonists, blood coagulation inhibitors, thrombocyte aggregation inhibitors, corticoids, histamine antagonists, antidiabetic substances, regulatory peptides and their inhibitors, prostaglandins and/or their esters and/or antiviral substances. The composition has a liquid consistence so that it may be sprayed as droplets. After spraying, the composition forms a preparation on the sprayed surface of the body, in particular the skin or the mucous membranes, within a very short time, preferably in less than 4 seconds. In comparison with the original composition, the thus formed preparation has a clearly higher concentration of active substance and the active substance is finely distributed therein.
