The invention relates to an edge mill comprising a plurality of milling edge runners 8, a milling surface 10 and at least one dozer member 11 mounted above the milling surface 10. Each edge runner 8 being adjustable with respect to the milling surface 10 by means of hydraulic cylinders 5 connected between respective swing cranks 6 and levers 4 extending from the crank head 3. Hydraulic pressure applied to the cylinders 5 causes swing cranks 6 to pivot thus adjusting the height of the runners 8 above the milling surface 10. <IMAGE>
