The system is attached to a pram and provides an automatic rocking motion. The pram is supported on wheels (2) which are positioned in grooves formed in a base unit which is located on the floor. Motion is provided by a pair of actuators (8,9) which are coupled to a controller that generates signals to cause a reciprocating action. The actuators are connected to the pram by telescopic elements (7).
