Computer coupled display table with modules

The display panel or table consists of a number of hexagonally shaped modules (12) that contain electronic circuits, sensors and indicators. A typical application is that of a rail system layout display. Each module has a cover plate of transparent material and a diffuser plate with an inset symbol that corresponds to a section of the track. The illumination is provided by LED devices that are mounted on the base circuit board. Different colours may be provided. Base connections may be provided and these connect with a main computer system.
