Injection moulding and die casting machine giving reducing casting deformation on runner removal

Injection moulding and die casting machine for casting plastic and metal objects is made of a fixed tool half and a moveable tool half separated by an horizontal plane. A casting runner(6) enters the moulding cavity along this plane and a moveable section (40) located in the upper tool half can be moved downwardly to work with fixed cutting blade (42) and cut off the runner from the casting body. The tool halves remain together during this operation.
