An electronic monitoring circuit (1) with at least one measurement input (15) is connected to the sensor (17) of the tank transmitter (16). The monitoring circuit (1) has a central determination and control circuit or a microprocessor circuit (3), to which are allocated at least one storage (4,5) for storing programmes and data. Also at least one input circuit (6), at which are connected: the tank transmitter (16) or its sensor (17), a tank temp. sensor (20) and at least one displacement and/or speed sensor. A time base or a clock is also provided, with an output circuit (7), forming an interface for the entering and reading out of data and programmes. Measurement signals of the tank transmitter, the temp. sensor also of the displacement and/or speed sensor standing at the input circuit of the central circuit (3), and respectively together with time and date are automatically stored as raw data in the storage (5). A computer is connected to the interface (29), and with authorised access can be used for a later reading out of this raw data, and for evaluating raw data in this computer.
