The support is arranged at 45 deg to the horizontal when in the base position, and is at a height such that the middle of the unit is about 32 cm from the reader's eye. The support can be turned, swivelled and pulled out about an axis parallel to the member above the head of the reader. The support can be swivelled and adjusted in height behind the reader's head. The support pref. consists of glass or PMMA.
