Numbering accessory for printing machines

The accessory incorporates a shaft (2) on which one or more numbering arrangements are mounted. A coloured ink application arrangement (3) with rollers (4) is provided and a switch mechanism (5). The accessory can be moved in on telescopic rails (6) against the printing cylinder (7). The accessory is moved by a control shaft (8) using a first lever. A mechanism (8. 9) is provided which feeds-in the coloured ink application arrangement (3) at the same time as the numbering accessory is fed-in. The ink application arrangement is moved on the control shaft by a second lever. The ink applicator swings like a see-saw in the housing of the numbering accessory.
