The damper comprises a hub body (3) which carries a radially extending ring-like component which adjoins the input part (2) and radially overlaps the radial inner region of the input part. The connection between the ring-like component and the hub body is essentially tight. The ring-like component is arranged on the side of the disc-shaped input part which is turned away from the direction of friction. The input part is formed by two axially spaced discs (2,10) enclosing a flange (12) connected to the hub.
