In a procedure for controlling an inverter-fed locomotive power uptake at the wheels, there is a technology controller with an estimator for the mechanical parameters of the drive train, which can be described by a m-mass, n-spring system, where m is greater than, or equal to, 3 and n is greater than, or equal to, 2. The controller sets a value for the airgap torque so that on one hand, the damping of the drive train is actively increased and on the other hand, the mean airgap torque has a size that allows travel at the desired working point on the wheel grip characteristic. The mathematical model of the drive train is simulated in real time in the estimator, where the shaft torque is determined. |
