The invention relates to polymer-based mixtures of substances of a plastisol nature and the plastigels formed therefrom which contain polyethylene and/or its copolymers with propylene and/or adhesion co-monomers of the group of low olefinically unsaturated carboxylic acids, corresponding alcohols and/or their derivatives as the polymer phase, wherein there are reactive components as plasticisers or a component of the plasticiser phase which are stable in the temperature range below the film-forming temperature and cannot therefore dissolve the polymer phase, are in the liquid phase at the film-formation temperature and react in the plastigel formation range with enlargement of the molecule. Here, at least the greater proportion of the plasticiser components are characterized by straight-chained and/or branched hydrocarbon fatty radicals in the C6-30 range in the molecular structure.
