Drum support, e.g. for African bush drum

The drum (2) has a top portion (3) of a larger dia. and a coupled foot portion (4) of smaller dia. open at the bottom. The support comprises an arcuated deposition section (8) for the top drum portion, to which is coupled a frame with a stop (19) for the drum foot portion, with the frame resting on the ground (17). The stop is so widely, horizontally offset w.r.t. the deposition section that the drum assumes an inclined position. Pref. the drum foot portion is spaced from the ground.
