The invention concerns a container (1) with at least one vessel (2) located inside it. The container is closed by a lid (4) with an opening (3) through which a tube (5) passes, the outside of the tube being sealed with respect to the lid (4). The channel inside the tube (5) is divided up into longitudinal segments (6; 7), the number of segments being one greater than the number of vessels (2) in the container. Vessels (2) are fitted tightly to the bottom ends of all the tube segments (6; 7) except one. An opening (9; 10) is located in the outer wall of each tube segment above the lid (4). Fitted round the top of the tube (5) is a metering device (11) with the same number of chambers (12; 13) as there are segments (6/ 7) in the tube. Each chamber (12; 13) in the metering device has, on the side nearest the tube (5), an opening (14; 15) which is aligned with one of the openings (9; 10) in the tube wall, as well as an opening (16; 17) in the roof (19). The openings (14, 16; 15, 17) of the chambers (12; 13) can be closed. The positions of the aligned openings (9, 10; 14, 15) enable materials to be metered in a predetermined ratio of mixture.
