FIELD: mechanical engineering; cooling. SUBSTANCE: hydrogen at gauge pressure is delivered into turbogenerator stator body. Inhibitor is introduced into hydrogen either before delivering into stator body or directly into turbogenerator. Used as inhibitor is at least one saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon of normal or isomeric structure containing from one to four atoms of carbon in molecule, or mix of hydrocarbons. Concentration of inhibitor is within 0.2 and 10 %. EFFECT: enhanced cooling of turbogenerator windings.
