FIELD: application of oxide coatings. SUBSTANCE: coating is accomplished due to the effect of cathode-anode electric microdischarges on the surface of metal articles placed in alkaline electrolyte. Use is made of 50-Mz alternating current, having a density of 15.5 to 48.8 A/sq.dm at a ratio of cathode and anode current components within 1.36 to 1.92. EFFECT: considerably reduced power consumption without worsening of coating operating characteristics. |
