METHOD OF DETERMINATION OF SPECIFIC WEIGHT OF WOOLEN FIBRE OF SHEEP OF ONE BREED

FIELD: sheep-breeding. SUBSTANCE: from examined wool of sheep of one breed 10-12 lots of woolen fibre are selected. In each lot a group consisting of 100 strands of wool is chosen. In the middle of each of these strands of wool sample 0 having length 40-70 mm is cut. Diameter of each sample is measured and by obtained data medium diameter of sample is found. Then medium volume of sample is determined, later absolute mass of each group of samples is measured and absolute average mass of samples is found by obtained data. Specific weight of woolen fibre is determined by obtained data of medium volume of absolute mass of samples. EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of specific weight of woolen fibre of sheep of one breed by selective-group method. 1 cl
