摘要 FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy; applicable in production of sulfuric acid from effluent sulfur-containing gases. SUBSTANCE: method for control of catalytic reactor of sulfuric acid production includes measurement of temperature at the outlets and inlets of all catalytic layers. The value of temperature deviation from the preset value at outlet of each layer is determined by mathematic expression ΔT= T-T, where Tis the temperature value at the outlet of i-layer; Tis the preset temperature value at the outlet of i-layer. The value of correction of the preset temperature at the inlet of i-layer from the preset value is determined by mathematic expression ΔT= -k•ΔT,, where kis proportionality factor for i-layer. The temperature at the inlets of layers is regulated by varying the supply of the cold part of the initial gas mixture into the internal heat-exchangers before the catalytic layers. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
