Mechanism for periodically cleaning of air filters

The filters are incorporated in ventilation and air conditioning systems. Behind the air filter (1) in the main flow direction is fitted a control flap (2) etc. open in the normal filter operation but closed for the filter cleaning. Between the air filter and the flap are located flushing air inlets, while in front of the filter are fitted dust removal units. Pref. the flushing air inlets are in the form of nozzle lances (7) with associated injectors (8) coupled to a clean air duct via an overflow duct (10).
