Should the average value exceed the threshold value, the preset temperature value is established at the outlet of catalyst layers at the level of the lower process limits. Should the average concentration of sulfur dioxide be below the threshold value, the preset temperature is set at the level of the upper process limits. The temperature at the outlet of catalytic layers is controlled by varying the supply of the cold part of initial gas to heat exchangers of catalytic layers. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
