<p>A reamer with an exchangeable cutting head and a coolant/lubricant feed (24, 25, 26, 27) supplying the cutting head (3) from outside has a coaxial opening (2) for receiving the cutting head (3) and this opening is cylindrical. The cutting-head end of the coaxial opening (2) of the reamer shank (1) is provided with an outwardly open taper (13), the surface of which is provided at three points with depressions (14). The shank (4) of the cutting head is cylindrical and can be pushed into the coaxial opening (2) of the reamer shank (1) until the thickened portion forming a taper (12) rests against the taper (13) of the reamer shank (1). The taper (12) can be pressed into the taper (13) by means of the retention screw (8) guided by the cutting head (3), the taper (13) being deformed. This deformation also affects the wall of the reamer shank 1 in the front region of the coaxial opening 2, the shank 4 of the cutting head thereby likewise being held.
