The disc brake calipers (8) consists of a support plate (10) with guide components (18) on which side edges (24) tangential to the rotary direction of the brake disc support. Fixed to the support plate is a brake lining (12) and damping components (14) for preventing friction vibrations during braking. The damping components are integrated in the side edges of the support plate facing the guide components, and consists of spring components. They can also be formed by slots (22) in the support plate running parallel to its side edges, being arranged in laterally extending projections of the support plate. |
