The support assembly for a flush-mounted electrical fitting includes a mounting block (18) consisting of a body (19) and a tab (20). The tab is connected to a clamp screw (21). The tab and clamp screw assembly is able to tilt so that it can occupy one of two positions. In the first rest position the screw is tilted away from the edge of the electrical fitting surround. In the second position the screw is in contact with the surround and may be used to clamp it in position.
