SUBSTANCE: inlet assembly is made as an inclined branch- pipe tangentially cut in the regenerator housing and provided with a baffle, which is positioned in the regenerator space and has the shape of a semi-cylinder with a bevel horizontal cut on the projecting part of the side surface, located below the level of cutting-in of the branch-pipe at a distance not exceeding its two diameters. The baffle may be provided with an additional deflector. The length of the upper generating line of the semi-cylinder side surface makes up 2.0 to 5.0 of its diameters.
