FIELD: chemical engineering, devices of continuous agitation and periodic metering at reaction-injection moulding of polymeric materials (RIM-process), for mixing and metering of low- viscosity materials. SUBSTANCE: mixing-cutoff head has a housing with a pneumonic cell and cover, which accommodates a paired plunger and metering elements, and the pneumonic cell accommodates a composite piston rigidly coupled to the plunger; a seal is positioned between the piston components and inner surface of the pneumonic cell; on one side the plunger is made as a slide valve, and on the other side - as a piston rod; the pneumonic cell is provided with a return flexible member of the piston with formation of an air cylinder of one-sided action; a guide valve, and an opening is made in the housing, which receives this guide. The components of the mixing-cutoff head piston can be made for axial adjustment of relative position, for example, by means of threaded connection through an elastic seal, the hole mating the guide can be made in the lower part of the plunger in the point of connection to the piston, and a hole mating the flats - in the piston part connected to the plunger; the piston seal can be made of an antifriction material, for example, fluoroplastic.
