Multilayered, transparent polyolefin foil for use as shrinkable label.

A transparent shrinkable film which comprises a base layer produced from propylene-containing polymer and hydrocarbon resin is described. The base layer contains 5 to 40 % by weight of a propylene homopolymer, 0 to 30 % by weight of a hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin having a softening point in the range from 80 to 125 DEG C and 30 to 95 % by weight of a random ethylene/propylene copolymer, the percentages being based on the total weight of the mixture. Covering layers are arranged on both sides of the base layer. A process for the production of the film is also described.
