PURPOSE: To obtain an extensible water impermeable laminated material becoming an extremely flexible fabric laminate not losing barrier characteristics even if receiving extremely large elongation by using a microfine fiber layer formed by applying creping processing to melt blown fibers as a barrier layer. CONSTITUTION: A laminated material is produced by using a hydrophobic microfine fiber structure, subjected to creping processing, having a three-layered structure constituted of a melt blown web. A polypropylene core layer 14 has a softening temp. of 110-120 deg.C and an m.p. of about 165 deg.C and ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymers 13, 15 have a softening temp. of 90-100 deg.C and an m.p. of about 110 deg.C. Webs 10 of a composite fiber produced by carding and bonded by an air passing method [17 g/m<2> (0.5 ounce/yd<2> )] are placed on both surfaces of the microfine fiber structure 20 of a three-layered structure. The composite fiber comprises a high density-polyethylene/polyethylene terephthalate core/ sheath type twocomponent fiber. |
