PURPOSE: To sufficiently exhibit a function of each functional part, improve an appearance quality, and easily change the width of a connecting part even if the functional part has a complex and special shape in the molding of a weatherstrip with a connecting part different in width for every site. CONSTITUTION: An extruder comprises a head, a main die plate 12 abutting on the front surface of the head and having a first open part 15 for forming a trim part 3 and a connecting part 5, a fixed die plate 13 abutting on the front surface of the main die plate 12, and a movable die 14. The movable die 14 has a second open part 17 for forming a sealing part 4 and slides in a containing part 16 of the fixed die plate 13. In addition, a delivery amount of an unvulcanized rubber is adjusted in accordance with the slide movement of the movable die 14. An obtained weatherstrip is free from occurrence of flash and occurrence of an excess part (unvulcanized rubber). In addition, the second open part 17 of the movable die 14 is formed into a special shape and the movable die 14 can be moved, whereby the width of the connecting part 5 can be easily changed while the shape is kept as it is. |
