<p>PURPOSE: To produce a cemented wood board having excellent appearance by incorporating a prescribed amount of powder of waste cemented wood board having a prescribed particle diameter. CONSTITUTION: This cemented wood board having few voids and gaps and excellent appearance is produced by preparing a raw material mixture composed of about 30-60wt.% of a cement such as Portland cement, about 15-30wt.% of a reinforcing wood material having a width of about 0.5-20mm, a length of about 1-20mm and an aspect ratio of 20-30 such as wood chips and 10-50wt.% of powder of waste cemented wood board having particle diameter of <=16 mesh and containing 20-60wt.% of the fraction of >=55 mesh and 40-80wt.% of the fraction of <=55 mesh, adding water to the mixture in an amount to get a slurry having a water-content of 30-45wt.%, kneading the obtained mixture, dehydrating the slurry on a net to form a sheet and curing under pressure. In the case of a board having a three-layer structure, the surface layer part having a fine structure is formed by using a fine reinforcing wood material having a mesh opening of about <=4.5mm and a core layer having a coarse structure is formed by using a coarse reinforcing wood material having a mesh opening of about 4.5-10mm.</p> |
