PURPOSE: To provide a container with a safe and reliable heating mechanism whose after treatment is easy, and a method for controlling its heating. CONSTITUTION: The container 1A has a heating mechanism to heat the contents to drink 3 by mixing water solution 4 for heat generation into a heat generation material 5. Inside a storage room 14A of the container to store the heating mechanism, a partition part 17A is installed which has at least one opening at the top, and in the 1st storage section divided by the partition part, the heat generation material 5 and aqueous solution 4 for heat generation are contained, and in the 2nd storage section divided by the partition part, aqueous solution 8 for heat generation control is contained. The heat of reaction of the mixture of the heat generating material 5 and the aqueous solution 4 for heat generation is controlled by mixing the water solution 8 for heat generation control into the mixture. |
