PURPOSE: To obtain the invariant, stable composition effective for treating the morbid abnormal tissues of esp. digestive organs such as large intestine and rectum. CONSTITUTION: This composition with pH1.0-3.5 comprises (A) a water-soluble aluminum compound such as aluminum potassium sulfate, (B) a tannic acid, pref. derived from Japanese gall, (C) sodium bisulfite, and (D) a chelating compound, pref. citric acid or a salt thereof, and, if needed, (E) a polyhydric alcohol and/or saccharide. The proportions of the respective components to be formulated are as follows (in terms of effective concentration in the composition): A: l-10wt.%; B: 0.01-2.0wt.%; E: 3-20wt.%; C: 50-200wt.% based on the component B; and D: 10-80wt.% based on the component A. This composition is obtained by formulating the component C with the other components except the component B in any order followed by formulation of the component B; or, by preparing, independently, a composition comprising the components A and D and another composition comprising the components B and C followed by mutually blending these two compositions. |
