PURPOSE: To obtain a therapeutic medicine for leukoderma useful for cure of leukoderma, especially leukoderma vulgaris as an intractable cutaneous disease containing 1α, 24-(OH)2 -V. D3 as an active component. CONSTITUTION: This therapeutic medicine for leukoderma contains 1α, 24-(OH)2 -V. D3 [e.g. 1α, 24(R)-(OH)2 -V. D3 .monohydrate] as an active component. A formulation of this medicine is, e.g. an external agent (e.g. an ointment, a cream, a lotion or a tape), an injection, a per os agent or a nasotracheal agent. This medicine is more effective in the case of applying higher local concentration to the disease site and a local administration to the cutaneous disease site is preferable. Then, an external agent, especially an ointment or a cream is important. Preferably, a dose of this medicine reduced to the active component is 0.1-100μg/day, especially 0.1-50μg/day.
